Regular inspections of explosion-proof distribution boxes are indispensable. So, how should they be conducted? The following explosion-proof distribution box manufacturer will tell you.
Instrumentation measurement is accurate, indicator lights are securely fastened without any defects; the conversion switch is in good condition and operates flexibly and reliably.
2. The inside and outside of the explosion-proof distribution box are clean. There is no odor or abnormal noise inside the box, and the door lock is in good condition. The dust-proof and water-proof measures are in good condition, and the box is installed in a dry and ventilated area.
3. The rated value of the main switch is compatible with that of the secondary switch. The three-level power distribution is achieved through the "one machine, one door, one protection" method.
4. The large explosion-proof distribution box is made of steel plate welding materials. It must be double-sided welded without any gaps, and there should be no welding holes or insufficient welding. After welding, it must be smoothed and polished.
5. Check whether the switches inside the explosion-proof distribution box are in good condition and reliable. Also, check if the wires are damaged, and whether the wiring specifications are loose or overheated. Ensure that the screws on the terminal blocks of the box are tightened without oxidation, and that the connecting wires are not aged.
6. There should be no debris around the distribution box to avoid affecting operation and maintenance; the enclosure is grounded, and the distribution box is protected against explosion hazards.
7. The inlet and outlet of the wire should be located at the bottom of the box. In special cases, they can also be placed at the top.
8. The surface of the box is treated with electrostatic spraying. The spraying material must be anti-corrosion and wear-resistant plastic powder.
9. The external fasteners of the explosion-proof distribution box are made of hexagonal stainless steel screws. Flat washers and spring washers are also necessary to ensure that the cabinet is tightly sealed without any gaps.
